Kunena Forum Shows Itemid=0 in URL

The following URL is generated when working with the Kunena forum component and linking to Kunena via a menu link: 
component/kunena/listcat?Itemid=0
What happens is Kunena creates a menu apart from the main menu and uses this instead of the menu you might generate.

To fix in Joomla 1.6:

1) Login to the administration panel.
2) Go to Menus -> Kunena Menu.
3) Click "Forum".
4) Note the alias and ID.

You will have to delete all references to the old forum link in your code and link to the alias and ID above.
